TrackRescue is a web application for people who depend on long YouTube playlists and do not want deleted, private, hidden, or restricted entries to become anonymous gaps. It monitors only user-selected playlists, preserves metadata and order history, and provides a controlled path from detection to repair.

Observe before editing
Monitoring remains read-only. A playlist changes only after user approval or an eligible auto-repair rule that the user explicitly enables.
Preserve the original evidence
A repair does not overwrite the snapshot that recorded the missing video ID, title, channel, position, and last-seen time.
Show uncertainty honestly
When YouTube no longer exposes enough information to identify a hidden entry, TrackRescue reports the gap rather than inventing a title.
Keep repair reversible
Completed repairs retain the inserted playlist item and original damaged-entry context required for an undo action.
Collect metadata, not media
TrackRescue does not download, host, copy, sell, or redistribute YouTube audio or video content.
Give users an exit
Connected YouTube access can be revoked, exports remain portable, and users can delete their TrackRescue account data.
